Texas National Guard Foundation to Receive $12,000
to Assist Families
- Fund Provides Emergency Financial Aid -
EL PASO, Texas (Nov. 6, 2009)—Deployments of Texas’ National Guardsmen can leave their families living on reduced incomes-making it tough on these families, who also are sacrificing for our nation. Now, they’re getting some much needed financial assistance.
TriWest Healthcare Alliance is contributing $12,000 to the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation, which will help support the financial needs of 22,000 Guard members and their families.
“In support of those who give so much on behalf of our country, TriWest is proud to contribute to the National Guard Association of Texas,” said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. “It is our hope that this contribution will provide assistance to Texas’ Guard members and families when they need it most.”

TriWest’s contribution is part of its holiday “Giving to the Guard” campaign, providing support to the National Guard throughout 21 western states. This is the fourth consecutive year that TriWest has contributed to the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation.
